When the ICL first received FDA approval in 2005, Drishti Eye Institute was among the very first centres in India to begin offering it, that same year. While most were still getting familiar with the procedure, we were already performing it.
Over the last five years, we collaborated with the pioneering research group of Dr Damien Gatinel and Dr Alain Saad in France, contributing Indian patient data to develop a new AI-based ICL planning software. We weren't just observers of this progress. We were part of building it.
